2020 Summer Tennis Info

*Updated 7/2/2020:

In light of the current COVID-19 global crisis, all information regarding summer tennis is subject to change.

Updated plan through Friday July 31st

*No access to Olathe School District courts is allowed during this time frame.

To maintain safety during the COVID-19 pandemic, we will do our best to maintain social distancing during our lessons. We will have a “no contact” policy, and hand sanitizer will be made available for all players. For group drills, we will ensure good spacing while waiting in line, and while playing on court.

Private/semi-private lessons:

Who: Any skill/age level

When: Available by appointment, mornings preferred

Where: Falcon Ridge HOA tennis courts

Cost: $30/hour for 1 or 2 players ($15/hour per person for a 2 person lesson)

Lessons need to be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance.

*Private lessons will be hosted at courts that are technically “first come first serve” and cannot be reserved in advance, so the possibility of lessons being delayed/cancelled due to court unavailability does exist. Payment is only required for lessons that actually take place, since this is out of our control

$6 Group Lessons!

Who: Incoming 9th graders and current high school-age players (boys and girls). NOT limited to ONW, or even Olathe School District players

When: 10:15 – 12:15, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday. (I have adjusted the time by 15 minutes in order to accommodate players participating in the 9:00 summer weights sessions)

Where: Falcon Ridge Tennis Courts (20072 Prairie Star Parkway)

Cost: $6/person for each 2-hour session

NO NEED TO SCHEDULE IN ADVANCE! Just show up to participate.

JTL –

Due to varying club policies, the KCJTL has decided to cancel the summer session. This has a cascading effect on summer plans. Due to the recently updated Olathe School District Policies, there will officially be no JTL summer programming in 2020. We are heartbroken by this, but we will FOR SURE be back in 2021.
