WOW! Words cannot even begin to express what is in my heart! I cannot describe to you how PROUD I am of each and every one of you! I could not have dreamed a better trip! What I saw on Sunday, brought tears to my eyes. I have never seen you dance like that before! It was the most beautiful sight I have ever seen! I have never seen such fire and passion in all of you! We were one team with one heart! We "showed some love" and spread it all around the Hard Rock! To go to NDA Nationals for the first time and place 4th is remarkable. To bring home the Showmanship Award too, it's the whip cream, sprinkles, hot fudge, AND cherry on top! We went not having any idea what to expect, and you exceeded ALL expectations we could have possibly dreamed! I am so proud of you! It's not about the placing or awards we brought home. It is the way you pulled together. It is the feeling the audience got on count 3 when all of your faces looked up and we all just knew. It was the way you handled yourself through ALL of the distractions (which I know was not easy). My favorite picture from the trip is the one I took (of the many I know) right after you danced on Sunday. It was a moment that I will never forget and that I hope you will never forget. Because nothing else mattered from there on out! That was my best moment on the trip...my best moment ever!

That trip is something that will be in your heart forever. To be the first Eaglette team to attend NDA Nationals is something no one else will ever be able to do. It was an experience of a lifetime and we were all a part of it!

-All the parents for the wonderful welcome home Monday night! The signs and applause made us feel so special!
-Jess and Lisa for being the most wonderful assistants that are beyond assistants. I couldn't do it without you. The love you give to this team, the girls, and to me, is unbelievable! From your support to your friendship, I am truly blessed and this team is LUCKY to have you.
-The Eaglettes for a wonderful, wonderful trip all around! I couldn't imagine anything better! It was the greatest weekend with the greatest girls! Work hard / play hard, that's what we did! I'm proud of you and love you very much!

What a successful weekend! It didn't just happen when you walked on the floor. It was not just luck. It was all the hard work, heart, and soul you have put into this team, your coaches, and each other. I could not be more pleased or more proud. The amount of pride I felt every time you took the floor was tripled every time you left. The amount of happiness I felt every time I heard the word please or thank you was tripled by the positive attitudes all day long. You represented Olathe North and the Eaglettes above and beyond. As I watched on and off the floor on Saturday, I was humbled! I couldn't have asked for more or dreamed of anything better! Thank you for making our first competition MAGNIFICENT! I don't know about you, but I had a blast and I want to do that again! Do you have it in you for another weekend? Can we step it up and raise the bar even higher? I know you can! Kansas Spectacular, here we come! LOOK OUT FOR US! I am so proud of every single one of you. I am so lucky to have you all in my life. I am so thankful to be your coach!

Some of my many highlights...
-The additional routines! From duets to solos to trios to ensembles, everyone stepped it up! I thought Olathe North was represented wonderfully! It was a great start and I can't wait to see what happens this next weekend after everyone works even harder this week!
-Pom...It was the first time we performed as a team. I was not sure how it would go. I have never seen such energy and sharpness! Holy cow! You blew me away! We started off the day with a bang! My reaction afterwards was genuine and something I have never felt before!
-Hip Hop...the darn music skipped, but you girls didn't miss a beat! You were able to get right back in there and finish strong! You could have fallen apart, but you didn't! I was so proud!
-Jazz...can I just say team fouettes! Awesome! :) The energy and excitement I felt around the room was contagious. You lit up the floor and seemed to bring happiness to everyone in the room. You couldn't help but clap along!
-Novelty...Where did you come from! For the first time, I felt old school North! When I was on the team, showmanship was what North was known for. I have always wanted to feel that again and you girls made me feel it! The best part, it wasn't just the showmanship that made the dance. You entertained AND danced hard AND danced well! What a combination!
-There are so many more! That's just a start!

Special thanks our wonderful parents for the fabulous food we had all day long. Thank you to Diana Carey for organzing it all and for everyone who contributed! It was delicious and so wonderful to have all day long! Thank you to all the parents who helped with the locker room necessities as well! We put them all to very good use! Thank you to everyone who helped with our Novelty benches. To Shawn for making such a fabulous prop, to Kevin Davidson for getting them there, to Steve, John, Kevin, and Davin for getting them out on the floor! It was a group effort that we very much appreciate! We are so very blessed! Thank you parents!

Thank you to the posse! There are no words. I owe you times one million and do not know where we would be without you!
