Welcome to my website!

Before I came to Heritage this year, I taught at Briarwood since it opened in 1989. Before that I taught a year at Indian Creek. I have also taught 2nd and 3rd grade at Parsons and Moran, KS. I was born in Iola, KS, but I call Pittsburg my hometown. I earned my Bachelors and Masters degree from PSU.

I celebrated my 19th wedding anniversary this summer. Bob and I met in the church choir. He began a new job in June as a disaster analyst-he works with lots of data and numbers. I have no children except my first graders here. But we do have two sweet adopted pound puppies-Maile (mah-le) and Rhett (you know, Rhett Butler). I enjoy reading, good movies, music and walking. I am active in my church music department and women's ministries.
