I have taught science at Frontier Trail for 20 years. Wow. I have taught all three grade levels, and have taught Life Science, Earth Science and Physical Science in that time.

I graduated from KU in 1987 with a BA in Chemistry, in 1988 with a BS in Secondary Education, and 1993 with a Masters in Education.

I grew up in Salina, and have wanted to be a teacher of some kind ever since junior high.

I am married to a wonderful man and have two great children who are in 6th and 9th grade. I also have a dog named Blackberry.
