Attention !!

  

As of January 11, I will no longer be posting assignments on this website.  Instead, I will be using Edmodo, which is an educational, social networking site.  (Kind of like Facebook, but strictly for educational purposes).  I would encourage all parents to sign up for a free account.  Here is how.

Go to www.edmodo.com

 

Sign up as a student.

 

When asked for the group code, please refer to the following codes.

 

If your child is in hours 1, 2, or 6 (Applied Algebra 1), enter jlc129

 

If your child is in hours 4 or 5 (Algebra 1), enter dsf174

 

Then proceed to enter your information (username, password, first and last name, and e-mail)  Even though e-mail is optional, this will allow you to receive updates for assignments, and alerts via your e-mail account.

 

Once you have signed up, you can go to Settings (upper right corner of your home page) and select to have Notifications sent to your e-mail account, via twitter, or as Text Messages.  Important note:  Please only check the box for Assignments and Alerts, and be sure to Save Notifications.

 

If you have any questions, first check with your student.  They have been shown how to do this in class and have their own account already.  If you still have questions, feel free to e-mail me as soon as possible.
