Cold or Flu? Which is it?

Cold Influenza (Flu)
Fever Rare High102-104 degrees May last 3-4 days
 Headache  Rare Prominent
 Aches/Pains  Slight Usually, often severe
 Fatigue  Mild Can last up to 2-3 weeks
 Extreme Exhaustion Never Early and Prominent
 Stuffy Nose  Common Sometimes
 Sneezing  Usual Sometimes
 Sore Throat  Common Sometimes
 Chest Discomfort/Cough  Mild to ModerateHacking cough Common,May be severe
 Treatment  Temporary relief of symptoms with home remedies or over-the-counter medications Prescription antivirals if administered within 24-48 hours after symptoms begin.
