About Me
I am really excited to be teaching at Fairview this year in the Q.U.E.S.T. program. This is my third year teaching for the Olathe School District in the QUEST and my first at Fairview. I previously taught in the Gardner-Edgerton School District. I received a bachelor’s degree in computer programming from DeVry University and previously had worked in the engineering field in Kansas City for over 25 years as a mechanical designer. I received my teaching certification from the University of Saint Mary in Leavenworth. I am currently pursuing my masters degree in Gifted and Talented Education at Emporia State University. I have lived in the Kansas City area my entire life and have been married to my wonderful wife Beth for 20 years. I have two daughters currently attending Ravenwood, one in 2nd grade grade and the other in 4th. I am excited and challenged every day by the wonderful students here at Ravenwood. There are so many bright and talented minds here in Olathe and I am proud to be teaching in this district. I think teaching is the most wonderful and rewarding profession there is and one I take very seriously.
