Academically high-achieving students immerse themselves in rigorous, non-traditional course work in one of five content areas as well as participate in cross-curricular year-long studies. Many students plan to pursue post-graduate degrees prior to embarking on careers.

Distinguished Scholars: Rigorous course work and cross curricular projects allow academically high achieving students to immerse themselves in a unique learning experience.
Students interested in the Distinguished Scholars program will be invited to participate in a select admission’s process. If you are interested in learning more about the requirements for admission and receiving the application packet, please visit your middle school counselor. Students selected for the Distinguished Scholars program will attend Olathe North High School as a full-time student regardless of where they live in the district.
