The Scarborough Reading Club recognizes students who read outside of school.  All students are encouraged to read 20 minutes everyday.  At the beginning of the month a calendar is sent home to record your reading minutes.  The reading logs are due at the end of first week of the following month.  All reading logs that are submitted should have the students full name, teachers name, grade, parent signature and the reading time totaled in minutes.  Students receive a certificate for every thousand minutes read and will be recognized on any student that reads more than 4,000 minutes by the end of April will receive special recognition on Reading Celebration Day in May.  If you have misplaced your calendar please feel free to printing a new one by clicking the monthly link below.
