September 8: Summer Reader Ice Cream Party- This will be a special ice cream party and extra recess for all those students who participated in a summer reading program either at Scarborough or at the Public Library.
September 22: All BOB forms due to Mrs. Fiedler
September 29: BOB Parent Meeting- Any parents helping with BOB are invited to an inforamtional meeting at 3:00 in the library.

The Scarborough Library is always updating its collection to keep current quality literature available to our students. The Scarborough “Birthday Book Club” is an opportunity for you to help us out and a unique way for your student to celebrate their special day. Students in the Birthday Book Club will come to the library during their birthday month to pick out a new hardcover book to donate to the library in their honor. The library will place a personalized book plate showing the student’s name and birthday inside the front cover of the book, and also present your student with a special pencil and bookmark. The Birthday Book Club student will be the first student to check out the new book from the Scarborough Library. I hope you all are having a great summer! It seems to be flying by already for me. I have posted the new BOB list for the 2010-2011 school year if you want to get started reading during the summer. Lots of great books are on the list and many will be available during summer library at Scarborough. I hope to see you on Tuesday, June 15th from 9:00- 11:00 at the Scarborough library to get lots of great books for summer reading.
