I was born and raised in Beatrice, NE and graduated from The University of Nebraska-Lincoln where I earned my Elementary Education Teaching Degree. I played softball for the University and am still a big husker fan as well as Kansas Jayhawk Fan.  I also earned my Early Childhood Special Education Endorsement from the University of Kansas.  This is my 7th year teaching in the Olathe School District, but my 18th year teaching early childhood. In addition to teaching the 2 day a week language classroom I am the community consultant and service provider for preschool students at local daycares for the school district.  I reside in Olathe with my husband Eric, my seven year old daughter Erica, and my four year old  son Derek.
